- My birds don't like the mixed seed, what should I be feeding them?
A very commonly consumed seed seems to be Black Oil Sunflower. It is high in fat and protein which gives the birds plenty of energy in every seed. Beware, other animals such as squirrels, deer and turkeys also enjoy this seed!

- How do I keep the squirrels from eating all my birdseed?
If your feeder sits on a pole, you can construct a squirrel baffle which prevents the buggers from traveling up the pole to the feeder. You can also try hanging feeders from a clothesline. If nothing else watching the squirrels walk the tight rope will be great entertainment!
