- Our new puppy has a chewing problem- he destroys everything! HELP!
Puppies have a lot of energy and need a variety toys to keep them busy and out of trouble. Don't give your puppy old shoes to chew on because they won't know the difference between that and your favorite pair of running shoes or work boots! Remove tempting objects and reinforce positive chewing habits by offering popular puppy toys like teething rings and Kongs. Nylabones are also great for heavy duty chewing and last a while.
- My cat needs to be on pills but it is very hard to get them in his mouth without getting scratched and bitten! Any suggestions?
Been there! Thankfully, there is a wonderful product called "Pill Pockets" designed specifically for administering pills to our pets! Essentially these are treats with a pocket to slip the medication into, then pinch off. Your cat will think he is being rewarded, and you will get to keep your fingers!
