How the Mill Works

The grain is delivered to Morrison's Mill by railcar or truck. The grain is unloaded from the bottom and carried via screw auger...	Up the elevator!
At the top of the elevator, the turn head directs the grain into ...	Bulk storage bins!
The computer controls the machinery, and directs the weigh hopper to measure out each ingredient in a feed formula.	The pellet mill uses steam and pressure to press the grain mash through the dye to form the pellets.
The pellets travel up another elevator to the holding bins.	The feed is loaded into the truck and delivered to the farmer. We also bag the feed in 50# bags for selling at the store.
Our feed is full of organic whole-grain goodness, and provides all the nutrients your animals need.	And it tastes good, too!
