   When water buckets begin to freeze over and mornings are spent chipping out the ice, it's easy for chores to become a hassle. We have got the product to help you out! Whether your watering your horse or your dog, heated buckets are a great way to get make watering easier.  The cords are easily hidden away into the bottoms for year round use. Need something for your poultry? We've got heater bases for them too!

Horse Questions

  • My horse has a habit of getting his blanket filthy and it really needs to be cleaned. Is there a good way to do it at home?

    I learned from experience that washing a turnout blanket or sheet in regular clothes detergent actually ruins the waterproofing effect! This spring I will be using an anti-microbial wrap and blanket wash made by EQyss.  Not only does it kill any bad bacterias that could spread skin diseases, it won't deplete the waterproofing!  If you were like me and didn't realize this, I found that a can of spray-on silicone over 2 coats will get your blanket back into waterproof condition.  It's not a bad practice to spray down any sheets or blankets before using just for reinforcement and your horse will appreciate staying dry and warm.

  • How do I know what size blanket to get my horse this winter?

    Very simple- measure from the center of your horse's chest to the center of his tail (in inches).  Morrison's Feed Bag carries both winter turnout blankets and rain sheets in sizes ranging from 68" to 74".
